August 29

"We thank you, our heavenly Father, that you have beset us beind and before, and laid you hand upon us. With all the sincerity of our hearts this morning, we ask you to search our thoughts and know them. Remove wickedness and lead us in the way everlasting. Loving Father, may this day be wholly yours, that we may glorify your Son, our Saviour. Amen."

July 12

"Dear Master, we thank you that you have said, 'Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.' May we have clean hands and pure hearts. Cleanse us from secret sins. Will you help us this very day to put every evil purpose out of our hearts by filling our minds with pure and good thoughts. Amen."

"As you have borne with us, O God, and freely and constantly forgiven us, may we forbear and forgive one another. May a charitable mind attend us at all times. May we reserve our estimate of others until we know all teh facts adn then withhold unnecessary judgment. May we see the good where others see evil. For Jesus' sake. Amen."

"Dear Father, we ask for careful lives. May this day be full of thoughtfulness. May we constantly remember all you have done for us, and be true and sincere in our faithfulness to you. Forgive our sins, in Christ. Amen."
