"Almighty and blessed Master, may we turn from sin, and may we not be remiss or cowardly in callin the attention of evildoers to their errors. Raise up, we pray you, men of fearless and consecrated lives, consistent and unselfish, who may speak with the power and clearness of Elijah and Ezekiel, calling men to sanity and penitence. Amen."

"Help us, most loving Father, to forgive others as you forgive us. May we forget the wrong others have dove us, and remember no longer life's stings and thrusts. May grace and glory entwine our hearts, that we may forgive others and glorify you. Amen."

"O great and loving Deliverer, build us up, we pray you, in a faith that nothing can shake of disturb. May the power of your saving faith be ours, that no error of philosophy of man may ensnare or trouble us. May the world behold you and know your delivering power, that you may fill our vision and control our emotions. Amen."

"O blessed Master, we know not what you may have for us to do, but we know we can trust and obey you, and that you will prepare the way and the people before us. May we cease from anxiety, and joyfully enter upon and continue the work to which you have called us. Amen."

"O God of the Sabbath, may we be more careful to observe and value your day. Deliver our Christian lands from this growing disregard of your holy day. May the privilege and delight of ythe Sabbath be known, that we may give our attention on that day to the thoughts of evernal things. For Christ's sake. Amen."

"Answer, we pray you, O Lord, the prayer of your servants for more laborers. Inspire those whose lives are before them to put them into the most eneedy and ready places. May China, Korea, Africa, India and South America gain the reenforcements needed to redeem them for Christ and train up their native ministry. Amen."

"Our gracious and loving God, we pray you that the eyes of the sinning world may not be blinded by false philosophy of careless reasoning. May the sinful cease to do evil and learn to do well, knowing that the disobedient, sinning life shall not go unpunished, but that the sinner is saved through Christ. Amen."
