June 3
"O God, you have told us to love you with all our hearts, and souls, and might. May we obey this command. May we never tempt you by selfish indulgence. May we find delight in obedience to your precepts in the little things of everyday life. In Jesus' name. Amen."

June 2
"O Light of Life, come as the bright and morning star into our lives. Dispel our fears, and overcome our darkness as we behold you. Lead us out into the coming light of the new day, as we behold your glory. And as the day dawns, may it bring cheer, warmth and pure air, joy, sympathy and light. For your name's sake. Amen."
June Sundays
"O God of the temple, help us to enter your courts with praise. May we early gain the spirit of worship. May we never feel the obligation rather than the blessing of church attendance. Make the services reverential and inspiring, in praise, in prayer, and in preaching. We ask in Christ's name. Amen."
June 1
"Our all-wise Father in heaven, so teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. May we grow gentle and strong day by day. May we be wise enough to be silent at times, and use low tones when we speak. In Christ's name. Amen."
May 31
"Give to us, our heavenly Father, a desire to help others. We have entered upon a new day for you. As we bow before you at this family altar may we remember that there are those in the world who have not had our privileges of knowing you. If we are stronger in faith or character, may we use our strength to help those who are weak, and do it joyfully for Christ's sake, denying ourselves. Amen."
May 30
"God of wisdom and might, we pray you to make us wise unto salvation. May we sit at the feet of Christ and learn of him. May we search for wisdom as for hidden treasure. As the Christ-child grew in wisdom daily amid life's common tasks, so may we. In his name. Amen."
May 29
"In seeking to multiply your work, our loving Father, may we learn that no fruit can grow where the life is separated from you by keeping your word in our hearts. May it be our wish to know your will, and may obedience become our natural inclination because your life is within us. In Jesus' name. Amen."
