"O God, who, through Jesus Christ your Son, has saved us from ourselves, we ask you to make these lives of ours so clean and strong and inspiring that everyone who sees us may know we are sons of God, living the life of blood-bought inheritance through Jesus Christ your Son, our Saviour. Amen."

"Heavenly Father, we pray you that our bodies and brains may be daily developed for Jesus Christ. Control for us all that we do today. Then, as we stand upon our feet and go from this room, may we realize that we are God's own buildings, his temples, and may we adorn these temples with beautiful character. In the Saviour's name. "You have said, dear Lord, that the kingdom of heaven is in our midst. May we live in the realization of this fact. If heaven is to be home for us, may we make home heaven now. May we also have the joy of anticipation when we think of the eternal home before us, where so many whom we love are now with you. Amen."
